Key elements
Every picture below is the colour you have selected.
The shell
Polycarbonate, moulded in one piece, with the grooves RIMOWA has used since 1950. It flexes under load and comes back.
The handle
Anodised aluminium, adjustable through several heights, so it sits right whether you are tall or not.
The wheels
Four wheels that spin the whole way round, mounted far enough apart that the case tracks straight rather than wandering.
Inside
A divider, a zipped compartment and a flex divider. Everything is held down, so nothing has moved when you open it.
The rest of the range
Same guarantee, different shell. Pick the one that suits how you travel.
Questions
Will the Cabin fit as hand luggage?
The Cabin is 55 x 39 x 23 cm including wheels and handles, which is within the limit most full-service airlines publish. Indian carriers also cap cabin bags by weight, usually at 7 kg, and the empty case is already 3.2 kg. Check your airline before you fly, and if you are flying a low-cost carrier look at the Cabin S.
What is the difference between Essential and Original?
Essential is polycarbonate and Original is aluminium. Essential is roughly a third lighter and costs less. Original takes dents rather than flexing, and many people like that it ages visibly. They pack the same.
Is the guarantee valid in India?
RIMOWA's guarantee covers manufacturing defects for the life of the case and is honoured at RIMOWA service points worldwide. Because this piece is sourced internationally rather than bought from RIMOWA India, confirm the service route with us on WhatsApp before you buy if the guarantee matters to your decision.
How long will delivery take?
The timeline shown on this page comes from the piece you have selected and is the one we commit to. If you need it sooner, message us and we will tell you what is possible.
Can I see it before I pay?
Message us on WhatsApp. We can send photos and video of the actual piece, and we take orders over chat if you would rather buy that way.
