How does it work?
The cap emits low-level red laser light at 650 nm through laser diodes, a wavelength clinically shown to:
• Increase blood flow and cellular metabolism for hair follicles
• Extend the growth (anagen) phase of the hair cycle
• Strengthen follicles and promote visibly thicker, fuller hair.
What type of hair loss is it approved for?
The device is cleared for androgenetic (genetic) hair loss, also known as male or female pattern hair loss. It is not intended for:
• Postpartum , stress-related, autoimmune, or chemotherapy-induced hair loss
• Scarring alopecia or complete baldness
• Use on the face or body
What size is the cap?
The cap comfortably fits most head sizes. Most adult heads are 21.5–24 inches. The interior circumference of the laser cap is 26 inches.
Will I experience shedding?
Some users may notice a temporary increase in shedding within the first few weeks of use. This is a normal part of the hair cycle as resting hairs are released to make way for new growth. Shedding typically stabilizes within 1–2 months, followed by visible regrowth by around 16 weeks.
What happens if I stop using it?
Consistent use is essential - if treatment stops, hair will gradually return to baseline.
What does it feel like?
The treatment is painless and feels like wearing a cap. You may notice a mild warming sensation on the scalp during use, which is normal.
Is it safe for all skin tones?
The cap is FDA-cleared for Fitzpatrick Skin Types I-IV (fair to medium tones)
It is not cleared for Types V-VI, which include darker complexions.
